Many people ask why wedding photography cost so much. Photographer just shows up for five - ten hours and charge anywhere from $1500 to $5000. Well let me give you inside of those hours.
First of all it will take anywhere from to two to four additional hours per every hour of shooting to do editing, cleaning, manipulations, layouts and so on.
Second of all there is a cost involved related to "GOOD" quality prints, computer, camera, insurance and other business expenses.
Third - you get what you pay for!
In addition, if you wish to give your photographer a tip for his/her hard work and caring 20 pounds of equipment on the neck for ten hours, please do so. It is always appreciated and you may get some extra stuff from him.
So choose your photographer accordingly based on his/her experience, quality of work and references.

Kids do grow fast this is fact. Do not hesitate to care a camera with you and take lots of pictures some of them will be priceless in the future. Occasionally see professional photographer or take your kids to a photo studio - you want be sorry years later. What can be better than high quality portrait of your child on the wall? Collect your photos and organize them in the album – see your child grow and changing monthly and yearly. Some photographers (we as well) offer long-term services where whey would come to your home or will go with your family out and capture those precious moments of your kid life. Make sure you and your family is in those pictures too. As the time will pass by your child will remember that you where with him.

How important to order an album after your wedding?
My client often will tell me that if I give them all images on a CD that they will be able to compose an album by themselves. Sure, go ahead, I have no problem to give you all the negatives or source images I have, overall its your wedding!
Sure enough after a while if I run into my clients and ask how is your album turned or can I see it, guess what the answer would be. You are right: “We are working on it… for the past two years or so…”.
The important part of ordering your wedding album right a way is that the photographer will generally remember best shots (which were prepared as your profs) and has composition in mind by the end of your wedding day. As the time passing by we get involve into new events, jobs and forget what was six month ago or even more.
